Kaffir lime, also known as Chanh sac in Viet Nam, is a member of the citrus family and native to parts of southern Asia and China.  A popular ingredient in many types of Asian cuisine the leaves are easily recognized by their double leaf structure and pungent aroma.  The fruit is rough and bumpy on the exterior and doesn't get much larger than a baseball.
